I've really enjoyed watching this short series on BBC 2 over the past few weeks. It brought the past alive and showed how chance played such a huge part in peoples' destinies. The last programme is on Sunday at 7pm.
Secret life of My Family - I imagine you can find the other programmes on i-player. It's well worth a look.
