A big chunk of burials is missing from St John's on Lancs OPC and on the Ancestry Liverpool records so the Bishop's Transcripts fill in these gaps. I can't see Joseph's burial on Family Search either so it shows how useful the Lancs Bishop's Transcripts can be.

Lynne99 I live in that "bottom bit" that is now Cumbria, but local elderly people round here still consider it to be Lancashire, though as you rightly say Kendal was in Westmorland until recentish boundary changes.
