This is the entry from 02 March 1936 - Sheffield Independent, no more information than the other one though, I'm surprised the Boatswain wasn't named.

The name Murraey is spelt differently from all other documents. At first thought it was a transcript error appear not !!

What a tangled web we (or rather our ancestors) weave!
As for the spelling, that handwriting is all the same, and done by somebody at the GRO. They may have just read the spelling once and continued it for the other occasions Pity it wasn't a church marriage as we may have been able to check the writing in the Register.
