the will of William SWIFT

Post by plimmerian »

wow - finally a will purchased that reveals a fascinating fact!

it appears my 3 X great grandfather William SWIFT who died 07 June 1884, at 18 Chalmers Street, Edge Hill, West Derby - not only did he own No. 18 but also No.s 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17

money was also left for the grandchildren, the off spring of the deceased son, in the Edge Hill Benefit Building Society

he then ends rather sharply that whoever grumbles about the will, will be cut off with one shilling!

had he predicted a family row if he hadn't included a clause! lol

Lovely success, he obviously knew somebody would have an argument about their share.
