Simone has emailed me refs which all totally tie up, we are distant relatives.

My grand father as illigitimate and brought up by by his mothers family, (The Spencer's) again i dont know much about her or family.

Hi, are you thinking of joining the Society? how lovely to have a new member!!

We host Help Desks at the Liverpool Record Office each Tuesday afternoon between 1.30 and 4.00 pm - don't know if you might find these useful if you take up my suggestion of checking the Workhouse Registers on your other post.

Society meetings are held at the Friend's Meeting House, School Lane on the second Tuesday of each month, 6.30 for 7.00 pm, so the next will be
