Phil Rob's High School Band DDay dedication

Post by Tina »

Hi many of you may remember Phil Rob, we "met" through our forum many years ago. Phil lives here in the West. He teaches music at a country high school having been a muso from a kid in Lpool to travelling all around Oz in the old days.
He is a dear friend of mine. We all helped him with his family tree back then.
Here is a link to his latest video, he's the white haired conductor. Phil has done amazing things for the young people here.
Enjoy

Brill Tina! Got my attention immediately with the opening piece 'Fanfare to the Common Man' by Aaron Copeland. That music in particular makes the hair on my arms stand to attention!

Somebody's done a wonderful job of editing that lot together, and well done to the band, that must have been a great concert.

PS of course we remember our old friend Phil Rob, you can tell him we do if you see him.
