I don't know how comprehensive that site but a couple of names from my family were not listed.
This site might complement yours and give even more lists between the two.

This promises to be a valuable site, I suspect the owner will develop it as well as he did his Workhouses site.

Re: THE BRITISH CHILD EMIGRATION SCHEME TO CANADA (1870-1957
Helena Smart, Archivist from the Record Office gave us a very interesting talk at our December meeting about the records she is cataloguing for the Institutional records that have been transferred from Nugent Care.
It will be at least a year before all records are archived but I thought this list would give an idea of the scope of the collection and the numbers of orphanages and schools that are included.
Although she will be pleased to try to respond to any queries, her email address is Helena.smart [at] liverpool.gov.uk I would suggest that you try to narrow down location and dates in your query as there must be a huge collection to be searched.
The collection includes the following:
1. Leyfield School (Also known as the Bishop Memorial School) Honey Greens Lane, West Derby. Opened 1894.
2. Our Lady's Home for Homeless Babies, 93 Shaw Street.
3. St Vincent's Certified Orphanage/Industrial School/Approved School for Catholic Boys, Opened 1859, Everton Crescent, Beacon Lane, Formby.
4. Father Berries Homes:
St Vincent De Paul's Home for Working Boys, 105 Shaw Street
St Francis Home, Shaw Street
St Patricks Home for Remand Children, Shaw Street
St Philip's Home, Shaw Street
St Bernard's Home, Shaw Street
St Anthony's Home, Shaw Street
5. Birkdale Farm Reformatory School, later became St Thomas More Approved School, Birkdale
6. St George's Certified School later St George's Approved School, opened 1854 Everton Terrace, West Derby Road, Formby
7. St Anne's Industrial School, Formby
8. Liverpool Boys Refuge Industrial School, 1864-1922, St Anne Street
9. Bishop Brown Memorial Industrial School, Stockport
10. The Clarence Reformatory Ship, 1864. Later Farnworth Nautical School, later St Aidens Approved School
11. Catholic Children's Protection Society, Shaw Street. Taken over by Father Berries Homes 1902. Emigration Records.
12. Liverpool Catholic Schools Association
13. The Liverpool Catholic Children's Protection Society
14. Catholic Children's Aid Committee, Truman Street

Re: THE BRITISH CHILD EMIGRATION SCHEME TO CANADA (1870-1957
I have uncovered a modern research bias on some of the research on home children stories. They were not always "on their own" nor were they always forced to leave England. In researching 10 home children in three lines of my family and another four who were assisted by Barnardo's and stayed in England, the stories of their treatment were not always as were have been recently led to believe.
I am only beginning to uncover how much some of them were supported not only by Barnardo's but by family already in receiving countries. I know there are tales of abuse but I also know of an immense amount of support that Barnardo's offered all fourteen relatives and how grateful they were. This is supported not only by family stories by by numerous archival records both from Barnardo's and from independent archival sources.
I am still in the process of organizing and sorting my sources but there is a broader story out of the England-Niagara connection that has been overlooked. I have been researching for forty years and am absolutely stunned at what I have been able to uncover with the assistance of extended family, researchers in Canada, and on this site. I'll keep you posted.
Cheers and thanks to all who have helped me in my search. If anyone has any questions or needs information about the Niagara-Liverpool connection, please let me know.
Cheers,
Ken

Re: Childrens Homes & British Child Emigration Scheme to Can
If anybody would like to see a contemporary movie on child migration to Australia I recommend "Oranges and Sunshine" starring Emily Watson and Hugo Weaving it's very powerful and deeply moving.
It's based on the true life story of Margaret Humphreys a social worker from Nottingham who uncovered this scandal of our time.
Margaret wrote a book called "Empty Cradles" I would thoroughly recommend that too as child migration didn't end with our Edwardian ancestors but went on up until the 1960's.
