I've been waiting a lot longer than I usually do for a copy of a will so I assume many are trying to beat the price increase. Must have a look and see if there are any more I need!

That certainly is a fair hike isn't it. Don't forget that there are many of the Liverpool ones - somebody will correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it is post 1858, available in a book, certified copies, at Lancashire Record Office, free to see and transcribe yourself, or £5 a day to use your camera.

The website still quotes £6 so get ordering quick and send in before they update it to the new price.
