WW1 - three brothers named Wilson killed in action.

Post by daggers »

A memorial - not CWGC - in Toxteth Park Cemetery named John, William and Alfred Wilson as having been killed in action. From other details on the stone, their father was also John, and mother named as simply 'M.E.'

Help need in trying to trace their army or navy details, please.

Here is the full inscription, in case I have interpreted the inscriptions wrongly:

E. WILSON, / who died 6th Sept. 1925, / aged 62 years. / Also of their sons / John, William, & Alfred. / Killed in action in the Great War.
