Would just like to add that if Robby wishes for help he should really post on the messageboard so that everybody is kept updated in case they have other thoughts to help.

It would be nice to know if anything we posted was useful or whether we were reposting info that was already.

It might also be useful for Robby to visit the Liverpool Record Office where he could get some guidance, the Society hosts a Help Desk there on Tuesday afternoons between 1.30 and 4.00 pm.

have suggested he post on here for further help if required...

hopefully the info we have provided has set him on his way.

I did give him a health warning re addiction

Hi everyone,Thankyou so much for your help,I live in the Isle of Man,so a bit awkward getting over.Right from what I have got from everybody is very useful stuff I didn't know, stuff I did know, not doing too bad on the Fattorini side, just can`t seem to find a death record of John Fattorini b27/12/1915,my grandmother was always told that he had died very young.
What I am struggling with is my grandfathers side Robert Lawson Anderson,I know he was born in West Derby 3rd May 1912,mother Hunter.volume 8B,page 577,line 74. Basically that`s all I know apart from what you guys have fed me,I have been told he had a brother who had a son called Noel ?
I don`t know if it makes sense to you guys,or am I after too much info ?

and thankyou so much!!

Might I make a couple of suggestions, the reason why there is a space for location in the profile is so that we don't make daft assumptions such as your taking a trip to a Record Office, when you aren't close enough to do so. "United Kingdom" is too broad a place.

Secondly could you perhaps draw yourself out a family tree identifying people and their relationships.

In your first post you stated
robby14 wrote:Robert Lawson Anderson b1912 West Derby...... I believe he had a brother Noel Anderson
but contradicting this in your last post Noel appears to be a nephew.
robby14 wrote:I have been told he had a brother who had a son called Noel ?
If the second statement is correct there are three possible births between the years 1931 and 1939 in either Liverpool, Liverpool North and Liverpool South, the mother's maiden names are given in the birth indexes at that date.

Could you post the details from the birth index for this birth as I don't see one to match it.

There are only 'plain' FATTORINI, John deaths up to 2005 in 'All Regions'...
1) Death: FATTORINI, John
Registration district: Liverpool South
Year of registration: 1957; Quarter of registration: Jul-Aug-Sep
Age at death: 62
Volume no: 10D; Page no: 523

But the age at death is out by 20 years!

2) Death: FATTORINI, John
Registration district: Blandford, Dorset
Year of registration: 1916; Quarter of registration: Oct-Nov-Dec
Age at death: 0
Volume no: 5A; Page no: 301

If the child died as an infant this should be him. There are no other births which would give an age at death of 0.
