The award of the Military Medal is included in a long list of King's Regiment men in the London Gazette, 7 Feb 1919. I did not find an individual citation.

Frank Duerden is 55 a Corporation Official, Engineers Department (Timekeeping) born Egremont, Cheshire, and his wife Ada 43, born Liverpool, have been married 21 years and have three children, Dorothy 20, Seacombe, Cheshire, Lady Clerk for an Oil Merchants, Edward 19, Seaconbe, Cheshire, Clerk for an African Merchant, and Marjorie 16, Egremont, Cheshire, also Clerk for an African Merchant.
