Wills

Post by yappie »

:D Hi All

I decided to send for a Will today - having found it on Anc went through the Probate Website for a PA1S form and that is as far as I got. Having sent for a number of Wills through this site with no problem I wonder if it is just me with one of those "senior moments" or if anyone else has had the same experience.

Regards yappie

You cannot apply online for a will you need to print off the form, fill it in and send to the probate office in Leeds.

I wrote an article about wills earlier this year for the journal if you still have your journals you could look it up.

There is also a resume of that article somewhere on the forum. I'm sure Mary will do a link for you.

Added

Go to the subsection headed Web sites, then go to page 5 and halway down is the one I mean titled Wills.

Hilary,

at the top of your screen whilst on the net, there should be an address bar, http://

when on this forum for example, it should be something like this,
http://www.forum.liverpool-gen

If you right click on it, a box will open with options,

left click COPY
go to where you want to copy that link, place cursor and right click and click Paste.

Don't worry what it looks like until you submit.

hope that makes sense and helps.

My excuse is I was on the iPad. I could probably manage on the PC.

I think my instructions would work just not as quick!

 Thank you for all your replies and banter. Hilary I know you have to print off the form but the problem is at the end of the wills section on Anc it directs you the Leeds Office where you should be able to print off the form but when you get there, there is a message saying the service is not available. Luckily I have a blank copy of the form PA1S in my files.
Keep up the good work folks I so enjoy reading all the posts.
yappie.
