Private Claunce or Clarence Caldicott

Could some kind person check the medal card for the following soldier

9th King's Liverpool Regiment
Private
C
2854
Caldicott
Wounded

Ancestry and Documents online have him as Claunce Caldicott. Someone as sent in a error which states his name is Clarence. I had a good look and it looks to me like Clarence can some one double check before I put him in my error list.
