I'm afraid I didn't find any other records that could belong to him, and I suspect nor did anybody else or they would certainly have posted. I do believe that not all records survived WWII when a lot were lost.

Interestingly, there is only one entry in the 1910+1 census for a George Dodgson bn abt 1890 in Lancashire.... Seems he may have been a career soldier?

DODGSON, George - U/m - 22 - 1889 - Soldier - bn Kirkdale, Liverpool.
2nd Bn The Kings Regiment, Ambala, Punjab, India.

george dodgson joined the militia 20/07/1906, gave his address as 154 rosalina st.those who joined the regulars from the militia recieved a £10 bounty, chances are he was a reservist on leaving india, and was called up on the outbreak of war in august 1914, landed in france 13/08/1914. the 1st bat the kings was at a place called Gheluvelt, nr Ypres and suffered heavy shelling on the day george was killed. records of his service in the militia are on findmypast.

Hi Steviebyday,
That address at George's enlistment for a 6 year engagement would appear to be 154 Rosalind Street.

In 1901 the Dodgson family were living at 124 Rosalind Street.
RG13 Piece: 3470 Folio: 140 Page: 11
Address: 124, Rosalind Street, Kirkdale, Lancashire
DODGSON, George T Married 44 1857 Pavior Labourer - Scotland
DODGSON, Mary Wife 43 1858 Sherpisk, Lancashire
DODGSON, William Son 14 1887 Lpool, Lancashire
DODGSON, George Son 12 1889 Lpool, Lancashire
DODGSON, Rose Dtr 10 1891 Lpool, Lancashire
DODGSON, Joseph Son 3 1898 Lpool, Lancashire
THOMPSON, Hellen Lodger U/m 20 1881 Lpool, Lancashire
THOMPSON, Elizabeth Lodger 2 1899 Lpool, Lancashire
THOMPSON, Thomas Lodger Married 68 1833 Goods Guard Scotland

For Pauline & Joe Smith: I have seen 4 images for George Dodgson's Militia service. He names his next of kin as parents George and Mary Dodgson and brother William, all of whom were living at 124 Rosalind Street although George gave 154 as his own address.

Big tanks to DS and Stevie for the information they found regarding Pte G. Dodgson. My wifes Father thought they where a distant relation to Ludwic Dodgson ( Lewis Carol ) author of Alice In Wonder.
