Thanks for that info Peter. I couldn't find a matching male Davies/Davis + female McKellar [+variations] marriage in England, Wales or Scotland between 1895 and 1915 using 'no forename' searches.

I did find a possible entry for the child Henry Davies in the 1910+1 census....
Living at 135 St Domingo Road, Liverpool, the home of Henry and Annie Fox...
Henry Davies - Nurse Child - 1 - bn Liverpool.

A 'nurse child' was an infant who may have been abandoned or who could no longer be cared for by its mother. There would usually be a small payment made to the foster parents for the child's upkeep and care by the local authority. It was considered a more acceptable alternative to placing an infant in the workhouse or an orphanage.
