Lydia Ella's birth registration is Dec Q 1894 ie last 3 months of the year which would fit with a baptism the following year. The difficulty you have in regards with Harry is that the vicar writes down a birth date. All the examples you site have no birth date given.

As you say you'll have to wait and see but I wouldn't discard Simone's suggestion. I have a relative registered and christened as Thomas but always called Frederick Thomas on all official documents!

Oh joy in the morning, well, afternoon here now. Just received birth cert. of Harry Thomas Mitchell,- a boy! b. 8th Sept, 1894 -8 Rumney Rd. very small letters beneath 'U S B' (I think) Father william other Ellen formerly Walker. Father- Public House Manager, 8 Rumney Rd Kirkdale reg'd 18th Oct. 1894.. RH Webster, Registrar.

Delivered along with my 'March 2013 Liverpool Family Historian'. How's them apples?

Now to see how I can straighten out a few Baptism transcriptions. then perchance find out where Harry went.
