Microfilm of original records in the Cheshire Record Office, Chester, England.

The court also had jurisdiction over the southern half of Lancashire.

Damaged records are usually filed at the end of the year.

Records are usually arranged in alphabetical order by year until 1848. Records created after 1855 are arranged chronologically by year, month, day."
