Blue, thanks for the link. Unfortunately, cannot see any cameras, for Westmorland.
Liverbird. I did however find lots of cameras for Isle of Man. Not mentioning my great x 2 gransmother, who is eluding me. Found her younger brothers and sisters though at Braddan.
Thanks to both and Blue, for all your hard work finding images for the Liverpool sites. A difficult job.

Thanks Blue. She was born between 1811 and 1815 on the Isle of Man. I cannot find her in the registers. All her brothers and sisters are there, but there is a gap where she should be.
Thought if I read through them myself, I might find her, but no such luck.
You seem to have the right family Lynne. Jane's baptism doesn't appear in the search results no matter what combination is used. The family baptised at Kirk Braddan and at St George's Douglas. Kirk Braddan's handwriting is nice and clear, no overlooked entries there. St George's is not as neat but I'm pretty sure there's no entry for Jane. I can't find out what happened to Christian. I see it was a private baptism. Maybe there was some doubt whether she would live to be baptised in church. The family may have later decided to call her Jane or Christian Jane.
I am also sure it is the correct family. I thought that Christian might have shortened her name to Jane (as in Christ jian) I do like stretching my imagination. At least I have found her burial and 2 marriages in Liverpool.
I wondered what the squiggle on the register said. Thanks Blue
If it doesn't allow you to download/print you'll have to do a PrintScreen or Capture. Adjust the image, zoom it and rotate it left until the image is long ways so you get the biggest possible image. Press PrintScreen or whatever you use when you are happy with the image. I paste the image into "Paint" and save it then edit it and rotate it back to the right way up using another programme.

I already have copies of these records downloaded from FMP. I've noticed that there are restrictions of use for this and some other of the image only collections on Family Search.
I imagine that it may be because of the restrictions placed on the site by Findmypast, don't forget their Terms & Conditions preclude things other sites appear to be happy with, we don't offer or ask for look ups from that site for that reason, although as we know all information ultimately comes from the National Archives.

I spotted some Liverpool RC record images today on Family Search. Hopefully they will remain available to view. There are some restrictions such as not being able to download and print but I'm sure you are all aware of the ways of getting round this to save a copy:-

So useful thanks Blue, St Swithins is one I haven't spent a lot of time researching but perhaps it will be a good one to browse when I'm able to spend more time at the computer.

These are among the older Liverpool RC churches. No sign of St. Mary's Edmund/Highfield Street or St Nicholas Copperas Hill the other older RC churches.
