Remembering

Post by Katie »

As the 4th August 2014 nears, I would like to remember all those who 100 years ago, left their homes, families, fiancées and sweethearts and friends and went to France, and other theatre's of war. All Soldiers and Seamen from the Liverpool and SW Lancashire area who served in all Regiments. All those who never came home and all those who did come home and whose lives were changed forever. We salute you "Lest We Forget"

Lights out between 10.00 - 11.00 pm tonight. It's a lovely thought that the whole country will be united in both remembering and honouring and hoping for future peace.
