Liverpool Echo-3rd June 1918

KELLAND: In loving birthday remembrance of my dear husband EDMUND (Eddie) who lost his life by the torpedoing of the SS Abosso, April 24th 1917.

Oh, for the touch of a vanished hand, or the sound of a voice that is stilled:
But memory is the only friend that grief can call its own.

Sadly missed by his Wife and children and Mrs. Walker-24, Bridge Road, Edge Hill

I have lost, Heaven has gained, One of the best this World contained.
Also remembered by his dear Mother, Sister and brother-46, Holdsworth Street, Kensington.
