In 1911 at 81 Gladstone Road, Liverpool were Walter Pollard 44 Plasterer and his wife Sarah Jane 50, who have been married 11 years and had 1 child together. Step children living with them are Sarah Jane Kaye 29 Draper's Assistant, James 23 Tuner in a Piano Makers, Emma 19 Waitress at a Cafe, Alexander 15 Apprentice at a Piano Makers, and Ethel Victoria Pollard 10 at school. All born Liverpool.

He would appear to have another couple of siblings, William b1873, Lilian b1884, Ada b1886 and perhaps Jenny b1882 who may be Sarah Jane. Mother's birthplace is noted in 1901 as Daubill, Lancashire and in 1891 as Bolton.

His father must have died between 1891 and 1901, William born approximately 1849 in Everton.
