Post by Katie »

Took me a while but I finally found this Officer

Royal Field Artillery
Parker
Gaythorn Raymond Robertson Carson
Second-Lieutenant
Ainsdale
5th-October-1915
8th-Oct-1918 ECHO

This Officer appears in In Memoriam notice in the Liverpool Echo under Gaythorn Parker. I have located him on 1901 Census under Surname Parker.

He is recorded under the surname of Carson on CWGC

The National Archives have a record for him in WO 339/14730. The index shows a hyphen bewtween Carson and Parker.

EDIT to add
TNA also lists his Medal Index Card [in WO 372/15/113322] with no hyphen, under 'Parker'.
