19th-Apr-1918
Northumberland Fusiliers
Private
Francis
39395
Moynihan
Bootle
Wounded
See: Moyniham

This soldier is recorded on his Medal card as Francis Moyniham. I suspect his correct name is Francis Moynihan.

I cannot locate him on a census in England , but I think I have a marriage in 1915 of a Francis Moynihan to a Lucy Scott

The 1911 Irish census has some possibles...

Moynihan, Francis - Unmarried - Deelis, Deelis, Co Kerry aged 23
Moynihan, Francis - Married - Coolnagoppoge, Banawn, Co Kerry aged 39
Moynihan, Francis - Unmarried - Beheenagh, Doocarrig, Co Kerry aged 11
Moynihan, Francis - Married - Coolavokig, Ullanes, Co Cork aged 40

I would suspect that this soldier one of the two unmarried in the census since the other two have fairly large families to be supported.

Possible death?
MOYNIHAN, FRANCIS ROBERT
Year 1972; Sep Qtr;
Year Of Birth: 1887
Birth Month: 9
Birth Day: 29
District: LIVERPOOL; Volume: 10D; Page: 813

Can't find a matching birth in the GRO. But, that DoB matches the YoB for the 23 year old from Deelis in Co Kerry. And Deelis isn't that far from the town of Dingle.

Possible birth?
Francis Moynihan
Registration Quarter and Year: Oct - Dec 1887
Registration District: Dingle, Co Kerry.
Volume Number: 5; Page Number: 173
