Read a good book about family history or history recently? or what do you think of your Genealogy Software. Why not tell us about how good, bad or indifferent you think it was.

Genealogy Books

Post by happychappy »

Hi,

I don't know whether I'm on the right forum for this but I have some books that might be useful to members. They Are: Ancestral Trails Second Edition by Mark Herber, How to Research Local History by Pamela Brooks, Tracing your Family History by Anthony Adolph and The Liverpool Scottish 1900-1919 by A.M.McGilchrist. All books are in good condition and I'm happy to give them to anyone who may be able to use them and is prepared to collect them. I live in the Clubmoor area of Liverpool.

Regards,

Roy.

Hello Roy
If you are happy to release one of the books, I would be very pleased to have the Liverpool Scottish history. I do not need the others, thanks.

That's very generous of you Roy, might I suggest that apart from the claim by Daggers, if nobody else puts in a request, I could pick them up and take them along to our next meeting to see if anybody would like them. We have done this before and people will usually throw in a small donation for them.

Let me know what you think and perhaps this could be arranged for over the weekend or at a time to suit you.
