Not one I have read so sorry I can't give my own opinion, but the owner of the Lost Cousins site comments
"although it was published in the US - and aimed at the US market - it nevertheless includes some very useful information that might just get me started on what had previously seemed like an impossible task."

So perhaps it might be useful for anybody looking for German ancestors.
