The above soldier was reported as missing on action in a list published June 1918 (I suspect he was taken POW April 1918. I am trying to find any mention of him in the British Red Cross Records, but I can't find any entries for the surname Parker. Any help appreciated.

Is this the site you have been using? http://grandeguerre.icrc.org/ No luck from me either.

The Registers of Soldiers' Effects confirm he was a POW

Yes Mary, not user friendly. I have a few more Parker taken POW cant find them either.

I found him on the icrc site by searching for Park, then looking through the 13 Cheshire Regiment hits - which were all Parker !
