Hi, I'm Philippe Clerbout and I live in the North of France.

I am contacting you in order to find the family of Mr RIMMER Sydney.

This british soldier of the First World War lived at No. 83 Cambridge Road in Southport.

He was married to Mary and they had 2 children were: John born in May 1914 and May born in December 1915.

I am doing this research in order to restore military identity plate Mr RIMMER his family.

This ID plate was found near Boulogne sur Mer.

This is not a joke, you can check my research on Mr Willy Wilkins.

Thank you for your attention to my research.

Kind regards

Philippe Clerbout

Hi and welcome to the forum.

We tend not to post any details of living people on our forum, however we have collected a number of suggestions here http://forum.liverpool-genealogy.org.uk ... =14&t=8154

The problem with the name Rimmer in the Southport area is that it is extremely common and it may be easier to request information from people via a local newspaper and see if they can prove their relationship, than to trace forward.

I think this would be the best place to post a notice http://www.southportvisiter.co.uk/

There's a tree on Ancestry I think it would be worthwhile making contact with the owner. Last logged in 2 days ago, so still active.
