Looking for information of the above which was torpedoed 1st May 1918. Tried all the google search , no luck. The reason I ask is one of the casualties James McKee Minshull was buried in Kirkdale Cemetery 16th July 1918 2 and a half months after his death. He is recorded on Tower Hill Memorial and in order for his correct details to be inserted on his entry they need evidence he is the same man who is buried in Kirkdale.

This seems to be the one - a steamer torpedoed 14 miles south of Worthing.

Good find Karen. So the ship was damaged but not sunk! And she is missing from the http://www.crewlist.org.uk/data/vesselsnum.php site.
