Re: Sapper Harold Wolfenden Clark
Does anybody know if this "All Ireland, Civil Registration Deaths Index, 1864-1958" covers only the North? as nothing is showing for this man, and I'm wondering if it's because it was Cork.

Re: Sapper Harold Wolfenden Clark
Answered my own question by putting Cork in the keyword and it does come up with some entries, just not his.

Re:
Where and when did the coroner's inquest take place? If there was an autopsy when and where was that carried out because a death cert is not usually issued until after the autopsy.
Because Harold was a serving member of the British Army when he died I doubt his death would have been recorded in the Irish BMD Civil Index.

Deaths: 1864-1958
The records are for all Ireland before 1922 after which the indexes are for the 26 counties only [the Republic of Ireland].
