Very well done to all those who managed to have their ancestors names added to the Roll of Honour today, 37 of them, including granddaughter of Thomas Winker, one of our own Society members Pat Winker.

Sadly there are still a lot more still to be commemorated on the Roll of Honour, let's hope these will be rectified soon.

I hope Pat was able to get to the ceremony and enjoyed it as much as I did 2 years ago when my great uncle's name was added.

It was certainly a very moving experience, one that I will never forget.
Lets hope this will inspire others to get their relatives names added.

I know Pat was proud and happy to have attended as she was the person interviewed about the day, albeit briefly, on Granada Reports that evening.
