In memoriam of Daniel Abbott Green (late of East Donyland Place born Dec 7 1824 died May 20 1911 also Louisa Elizabeth his wife born Sept 20 1829 died May 28 1911 and of DANIEL ABBOTT GREEN Lt 1st Batt The Kings (Liverpool) Regiment grandson of the above born Jan25 1895 at Fingringhoe Hall killed on Nov 13 1916 whilstgallantly leading his men in the attack on the German position north of Beaumont Hamel R I P.

Yes that's them. Found the plaque as above in church and have traced them back four generations of Daniel Abbott Green. All farmers and there are 4 wills on Anc. I am intrigued with the name Abbott as a middle name as a branch of my family way back same area also had the Abbott name as a middle name. Another visit to the Parish records looks as though it is on the cards

Has anyone had problems accessing the King's 7th site, it comes up Ok but when I try to get the Roll of Honour I keep getting an error message. Tried it on both my computers still the same.
