I have this soldier who was reported to have been killed cant find him on CWGC

There is a medal index card for this man, showing award of BWM &Victory medals, but nothing about his death. No date of entry into theatre of war, which usually means after 1915.

So frustrating I think he is also on Bootle War Memorial

Hi Daggers the soldiers published in that list were killed on or about 31st July 1917. There was another soldier from the same regiment also killed:- see below. I think I will have to access the Battalion Diaries see how many of the 2nd were killed.
