Owen OWEN WW1 casualty Liverpool

Hi, another request for help on the memorial names (http://www.thewarmemorial.blogspot.co.uk)

The only information I have is his name Owen Owen, the fact that he died in WW1 and he or his family were parishioners of St James, Toxteth.

I've got quite a list of possibles but at the moment no-one I can definitely link to the church.

Any suggestions gratefully received!

Amanda

Just a suggestion.

Could you perhaps alter your heading title to something that tells us you are researching names on St James War memorial?

Perhaps a list of all the names as well. A poster may just recognise someone.

Hi Katie,

I'm assuming he didn't have a middle name if there isn't an initial on the memorial, especially one that seems to be more of a double-surname as Rawson does in this case.
Thanks for checking your database for me.
