Re: John Dring
Thank you Blue. I am just waiting for the death certificate to come. The only marriage I found (his Second) was in Manchester in 1951 to an Elizabeth and the death date I found is also Manchester. Not sure it is him but will know when it comes. I think his second wife may be from there and maybe they moved when he was ill. If it's him he may be buried there. I could not find anything round the Blackpool area although he did live there for quite a few years. I also remember his parents living in Lytham St Annes about 1959 as we went to visit them and I have photos of us all in the garden.
I will keep the list in case I am on the wrong trail.
Will let you know when certificate arrives.
Thanks again
Lin

Re: John Dring
Hi All
Got the death certificate I was a bit thrown by the middle name Patrick but one of the things Katie found also states John P Dring. Patrick is not on the birth certificate but I think it must of been when he was baptised or confirmed. They were good catholics. He was a baker on the death certificate which surprised me but he would of been out of the army by that time so who knows. Date of birth correct and it says born in Liverpool on the death certificate. I only found 1 second marriage in Manchester to Elizabeth and Elizabeth reported the death.
Thanks again for all your help
