You asked: When you refer to a "Holbeck Registered Building", what does this infer?
It seems to mean a chapel registered for marriages. All the Google references appear to be in Leeds/Bramley/Holbeck. Perhaps the local superintendent registrar decreed that they should be described in that way.

Thank you Richard. I was wondering if it was a non C of E place of worship. This line of thought seems to be brought to an end as Harry's service papers confirm him as C of E.
As mentioned in my initial post, Harry was serving with "C" Company, 1st Scots Guards when he died. I have just found details on Sgt John McCauly, who was also serving with "C" Company on the 27 November 1917.
