What a successful time you have had! made up for you.
It's unlikely that the Formby Times is online, there are not a great deal of newspapers for our part of the world online after 1900, I think there are some of the Liverpool Mercury however on Findmypast.
There is still one day left of the free access to Findmypast so I should make the most of that and do a couple of searches.

The Formby Times is not online but is on film at Crosby.
Do you know when Clifford died? He is the one I think may have had children. Come to think of it do you know when Ernie died or maybe he married? If I had dates of death I could look for their obituaries for you.
I'll try and pop down to St Luke's this week and hunt for gravestones.

Hi Hilary,
With the info you gave me earlier today I believe that Ernest died in 3rd quarter 1981 and Cliff died in March 1980. Clifford married a Kate Roberts in 1930. I am not sure that these dates are 100% correct yet, still trying to verify. Thanks again. Cheers Carole

Re: Jospeh & John William Eccles
I thought I'd pop down to Formby this afternoon but as I got there a terrific cloudburst started over Formby so I turned round and came home. I'll try again in the week.

George was always my downfall I still have a photo on which I wrote Uncle Geogre! I was quite young at the time!
