The Garston & District Historical Society is holding an exhibition at Garston Park Church* tomorrow Saturday 8th November (10 am to 4 pm), and Sunday 9th (12 - 4 pm) Free admission.
A team of researchers have been looking into the names on the memorial in St Michael's Church Garston, and many interesting items appear on the displays. There is also an explanatory booklet with a DVD containing the detailed findings on nearly all the names on the memorial. This costs £5.
*The church is at the Garston end of Garston Old Road, near the Long Lane swing park.
The exhibition will be repeated at Banks Road Methodist Church (under the bridge) on Friday and Saturday 21st & 22nd NOvember, 10 - 4.
