The above soldier appears in a casualty list published 31st December 1917 as having DOW

His date of death on CWGC and SDGW is 15th October 1918.

I think a error has been made and it should be 15th Oct 1917. Can some kind person check his entry of the GRO index please

How sad that he was reported Died of wounds and then he actually did die of wounds exactly a year later. Still it all adds to his story.
