after 'receving a PRIVATE MESSAGE and reply I g can you tell me how I can check that I have actually sent the message . thank you Barbara

If you go in to Private Messages, left hand side box (computer image)

Sent Messages, click on, will tell you what messages have been sent.

Outbox, will tell you if message has been read, number displayed if not been read.
