Membership and Renewals

I usually renew via the online shop but I noticed advice on the site front page saying not to use it at the moment. Any update about this? I was able to add membership to my cart so it appears to be working but I didn't complete the process just in case.
PS Can we add the following to the front page for football fairness?
Join us for full benefits and know that 'nil satis nisi optimum' and ‘You’ll never walk alone’ with your Liverpool and South West Lancashire family history research.

There have been problems with the shop side of the website, at present the payments part of it is still in the testing stage but we are hoping all will be well before 1st January, or even earlier if possible.
We will update asap.

The Online Shop is now OPEN!!! We believe all should be in working order after a major overhaul but please let us know if you encounter any difficulties.
Membership renewal is due on 1st January, I trust everybody will be continuing with us for the great benefits for such a small price - and believe me many Family History Societies around the country and indeed around the world are a lot more expensive and we have tried to keep our costs and prices as low as possible.
Happy Christmas and a Genealogical New Year everybody!

Our Webmistress is delighted that you have tested it out successfully, after all her hard work, she deserves a pat on the back.

Thank you for this suggestion Blue. I'm sorry, I didn't realise that "You'll never walk alone" is anything to do with football. I thought it was from "The Sound of Music". Absolutely no football preferences intended (and the text is in blue too).

"You'll never walk alone" is from the 1945 musical Carousel
