1939 Register Query

Hi All
Finding a few surprises in the 1939 Register which is quite exciting.
However came across this entry and am struggling to decipher the occupation. Don't know what the word after War is, any ideas would be welcome please.

Also another little query I had.
I found someone who was the niece of the householders living with them. She was only 10 years old in 1939. However above her name is written her married name in different writing. To the left of her name written in similar writing in the address column is written M PT 12.1.52 NVF. What does that mean?
Well she married someone called McKenzie ( the name written later ) in 1951, so just wondered who else had access to these records and added other information to them at a later date?

Hope one of you clever people has some ideas, which as ever would be gratefully received.

FMP info,
"Name of person – The 1939 Register can include different names for people at different points in their lives from 1939 to 1991. It was usually annotated when people married, divorced, were adopted or changed their name. You can enter any of their first names or last names in the First name or Last name field and the search engine will find them. You can also enter more than one name in these fields – for example, Smith Jones in the Last name will pull up people who were called Smith at one point and Jones at another"

I knew I could rely on you Bert, thank you very much.
Just been reading up the history of War Pindari, seems to have spent a good part of the war around Norway and with a few of the big war ships refuelling.
Another little piece of jigsaw fitted together :D

Thanks for the annotation information, but any idea on the abbreviations?
