Donated certificates

I know that Liverpool birth certificates can be sent into the society to be sold on to interested parties and will sort some out for sending in, they are from my ex husbands family, he never showed any interest but I couldn't bear to throw these in the bin.
What about certs from other parts of the country, what do you do with them? I have a few of his non Liverpool and a few wrong ones I got. I do hate to waste money on wrong certs so am usually extremely cautious before ordering, nothing worse than knowing you've been barking up the wrong tree plus it's a pretty expensive mistake, ten quid for a bit of useless paper.
Is there a central holding place of some kind?

Not sure whether the Society take other area's certs, but I'm sure Mary will put you right.
I generally post my unwanted certs on Rootschat, free website if you haven't already looked.
Agree about cost if they are wrong

Thanks Erika and George. I will scan them first and put the "out of Liverpool" on Rootschat and then send them all in to you.
Erika I have recently been in touch with a lady in Australia by the name of Carol Breeze, it's a very unusual name I wonder if you are connected?
p.s. I will also look at what you have George and send in a deluge of requests asking for donated certificates

Well you didn't need me to tell you, George is the man! and I'll change the heading of this post from "Unwanted" because of course they are wanted - by somebody! to "Donated".
