I am cruising from Fremantle to Fremantle for 26 days for my 70th birthday, leaving Saturday. Looking forward to some hot weather in Asia.

I've just come back from my hols, a week in Austria and 2 weeks in Switzerland. It was lovely but very hot in the 90s at 3000 feet. My hearing aid batteries went rusty with the sweat round my ears!

Southport felt cold on Sunday and much to the amusement of the people at my church I wore a fleece the whole service on Sunday usually I'm the one removing layers!

Guess wot? I learnt to do the Haka to celebrate my 70th, performed on stage with my group passengers talent show. Could write a book. Went shopping in Vietnam and they too us to the local Co-op would you believe it?
