I like this programme, it more often than WDYTYA shows the searcher doing some of the work themselves, rather than just being handed everything on a plate, however, like Heirhunters, to put it on every day feels a bit overkill, I wish it was only once a week or as it's a short prog, perhaps twice.

I still think the programme featuring Roger Hull from Liverpool is the best of the series so far.

Hi Fledge,

Do you mean the WDYTYA? John Bishop episode or has Roger been on Family Finders? I haven't watched all these Family Finders episodes yet.

He was on the first Family Finders I watched, but not sure whether it was the first in the series. Could have been number 2 or 3.

I agree it was the best, maybe just because it featured Liverpool, but I thought it was more informative about how to research.

PS it did create a big new interest amongst people who hadn't made a start previously, our numbers went up at the Help Desk.

No, Blue - Family Finders. Fairly sure it was the very first episode. Should still be able to get it on iPlayer for a week or so.

(Edited to add, yes, episode one, broadcast 8th June. Available for another eleven days. )
