Petition to Open Historic Registers

This petition to make historic BMD registers held by the GRO available online appears to be more sensibly put together than some previous efforts - perhaps because of the logic of the person who has written it. Guy Etchells has succeeded in other campaigns because he researches the background and the manner in which it could be devised rather than making demands. Worth support to my mind but needs 100,000 signatures to enable a debate in the House of Commons
