How do I send a PM to someone who has a same surname interest? I get their e-mail address but not their username.

Do you mean they have posted on the forum? if so then there is a "pm" button along the bottom of their post.

If they are on the surname interests list on the main website, then they may not be a forum member, so might not be able to pm.

They were on the "members interests". I tried to contact them using their e-mail addresses but had no reply. I thought it may be possible to contact them using P.M. but that does not seem to be the answer. What next I ask myself

Some of the Members Interests have been there for donkeys years and are currently being updated by the Members Interests Secretary.

Can you send me a pm with the details of who it is you are trying to contact and I will speak with her to try to discover whether the contacts are up to date (ie perhaps the person is no longer a Society member).
