Found this while doing a trawl of the web

I would say I'm more of a Finder than anything else with a bit of an Analyzer thrown in there.
Can never understand the mindset of a "Junkyard Collector"
What type of genealogist are you?

I think most of us would agree with DS, me The Hunter or Detective too, love the research and those eureka moments, albeit sometimes far between and hard won.

Re: What type of genealogist are you?
Interesting. I'd say I'm a combination of many of those.
The description of 'Junkyard Collector', on the other hand, made me laugh out loud. Absolutely spot on.

Definitely the Hunter or Detective for me too.
I did laugh at the Junkyard Collector - I once had to contact someone on Ancestry who had attached a photo of my 3x great grandfather to someone completely different in their tree. Their reason? He looked like a nice man so she thought she'd like him in her tree!
