Interest in WW1

As you all may well know, I am a sufferer of a condition called soldieritus. I was on a bus today with my daughter and I went through Ellesmere Port and I saw the Civic Memorial. All I could think of is "I should have brought my camera and took a picture. I have not included the soldiers from Ellesmere Port in my index (I have had to draw a line. I wish I could include all soldiers who lost their lives) but this soldieritus condition is spreading. Help?

I know I'm tempted to take more photographs of memorials that I pass (did you notice the St Chad's, Kirkby that you asked for), but feel that if we uploaded any that took our attention while passing, we might be tempted to investigate all of them, when we haven't yet completed our original one.

As a fellow sufferer I sympathise, and I suspect the affliction will spread in the next four years. I once attended a church funeral in London and found myself opposite the WW1 memorial. As the refreshments afterwards were served within the church I was able to slip back and take photos of the panels and later investigated the names. Nothing to do with me at all!
A serious point is that we might be wasting time in investigating memorials, which might well have been 'done' by others. Perhaps there should be a discreet label to affix to those which have been explored.
