Hi everyone, just to let you know Ed and I cruise away tomoz from Fremantle to Bali and Lombok return to Freo on 13th Jan. Ed will be 70 on 4th Jan, a special holiday for us.
Just a small ship, M.V Astor, British owned I believe, first time here in Oz, only 650 passengers. We had a garden party today with the family as weather is so mild. Lovely tea and cakes and a game of pin the tail on the donkey! I came last..
Happy New Year to everyone, wishing you joy and happiness.

Hope you and Ed have a lovely time,

One word of advice, if they have an on board cinema and the Poseidon Adventure is on,
don't go and see it.

Bert!! It's okies mate the orchestra played the theme from Titanic on the first night at sea :D
Wonderful holiday, cannot fault the ship. Great stay over in Bali, did the grandees shopping at my usual places. While we were away, heat wave in Perth 44c for 3 days running. Hot and humid in Indonesia, we don't mind!! I reached the final of Mastermind...
cannot believe it, mostly UK questions, came 2nd. Ed had the most fantastic birthday on board in the private dining room, 4 courses plus a birthday cake and singalong from the crew. Need a holiday to recover. Met a lovely old lady who's auntie had a shop in Smithdown Rd. Needless to say I've got heaps of scribbled notes to do her tree.
We just can't help ourselves.... :D
