Just watching extended version of Have I Got News For You. St. Helens comedian Johnny Vegas said he's been knocked back by researchers of Who Do You Think You Are? The only interesting event found in his family history was an illegal burial.

I missed that bit, Blue. Shows how much I pay attention.

It makes you wonder who else has been knocked back in the past:-

It would be nice to have more 'local' episodes. Johnny Vegas would've been interesting to us from that point of view.

I prefer it when the celebrities' ancestors have had ordinary working lives. I'm far more interested in wire drawers and cotton warpers than nobility.
